Jesse R. Ayala

Jesse R. Ayala is a 2005 graduate of Fordham University School of Law in New York City; he received his B.A. in Political Science from St. Mary's University of San Antonio. With the exception of a six month period, he has been associated with Escamilla, Poneck & Cruz since 2006, representing the firm's governmental entity clients on a variety of issues including: public finance; privacy; open government; contracting; legislation and the conduct of elections. He has also represented individual clients higher education disciplinary matters. While attending law school, Mr. Ayala worked for the New York State Attorney General's Telecommunications & Energy Bureau and was a legal department intern at PBS station, WNET. Prior to law school, Mr. Ayala had extensive political and legislative experience including serving as a legislative relations specialist with the Texas Cable & Telecommunications Association. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas Administrative Law; Public Utility Law; and School Law Sections. Mr. Ayala is also an adjunct instructor of Government at Lone Star CyFair College.
